Slapjack is a reflex game where players flip cards into a center pile and race to slap it when a jack appears. The fastest slap wins the pile.
Deal the entire deck face-down so each player has an equal stack.
Players take turns flipping their top card face-up onto the center pile. When a jack appears, everyone races to slap it.
The first player to slap the jack collects the whole pile. If you slap a non-jack, you pay a penalty card to the pile. A player who runs out of cards is out — unless they slap their way back in. Last player with cards wins.
You must give your top card to the player who played it, as a penalty.
In most rules, yes — you can slap back in by winning a later jack pile.
