Setup

Each player receives two hole cards face-down. A dealer button rotates to set the betting order.

Betting Rounds

Four rounds: pre-flop, after the flop (three community cards), after the turn (fourth card), and after the river (fifth card). Players check, bet, call, raise, or fold.

Showdown

The best five-card hand from the seven available wins the pot. Two pairs, straights, flushes, and full houses are the common winners.

Blinds

Two forced bets (small and big blind) start the action so there is always something to play for.
